DIT-grade ingest,
as a workflow graph.

Plug in your cards. Wire them to disks. Copy, verify every byte, transcode a proxy and sign a manifest — then watch the whole run from your phone. IngestDeck tells you when it's safe to wipe.

IngestDeck Advanced workflow editor — a node graph copying two camera cards to two disks with proxies, alongside the mounted-disks and activity rail.

One graph.
Every contingency.

Advanced mode is a workflow timeline you build once and run every shoot — not a generic dataflow canvas. Each node is a real, dependable operation. Wire them up, branch in parallel, save it as a template, and let it run.

source

Source

A card, folder or file. Multiple sources feed one copy as parallel read lanes, with include / skip wildcards.

copy

Copy

Verified offload to one or more disks. Inline Verify and ASC-MHL add-ons run fused with the copy.

convert

Convert

Transcode to H.264 / H.265 proxies per a per-format matrix — BRAW, R3D, ProRes and more.

verify

Verify

Hash-verify a copy or convert result, standalone or downstream. Hash-during-read with destination read-back.

pdfReport

PDF report

Render a saved report template against finished copies — per-file facts, hashes and production metadata.

delay

Delay

Hold the schedule for a set duration — stagger jobs or wait out a busy disk before the next stage.

waitAll

Wait-all

A synchronization barrier. Join parallel branches and only continue once every upstream node is done.

eject

Eject

Unmount the selected disks once their work is verified — the safe end to a card's journey.

Parallel branches & lanes

Fan one node out to many. Run dailies, an archive backup and a proxy transcode at the same time — multiple cards reading into one copy concurrently.

Relay copies

Cascade SD → SSD → HDD. A copy can read from an upstream copy's result, so the camera card ejects early while the shuttle keeps filling.

Templates & pause / resume

Snapshot the whole graph into a one-click recipe per production. Pause a run and resume it later — including mid-file, picking up exactly where it stopped.

When you just need to dump a card.

Not every job needs a graph. Simple mode is three columns: a live folder browser of every mounted disk, a source-over-destination editor in the middle, and your job queue on the right.

  • Drag & drop whole disks, folders or files from the browser or Finder onto sources and destinations.
  • Live folder browser updates instantly on Finder changes via FSEvents — no refresh, and it never blocks an eject.
  • Editable queue — click a queued job to adjust it in place, or re-load a finished run to retry.
  • Watch mode — queue a destination preset and let a job arm itself the moment the right card is inserted.
IngestDeck Simple mode — the Jobs queue showing a running card copy, a completed copy and a job watching for its card.

Every byte read back.
Proven before you wipe.

IngestDeck hashes the source as it reads, then reads the destination back from disk — cache bypassed — and compares. A card is only marked safe to wipe when every destination matches.

  • xxHash, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 & C4 content checksums, with an always-on file-size baseline on every copy.
  • ASC-MHL & MHL manifests with generation-chain continuation (N+1) — the ASC industry standard, read by Silverstack and Resolve.
  • Per-file inspection — browse a finished run file by file: ✓ / ✗, the reason, and the confirmed hash.
  • Editable PDF reports with per-file results and production metadata, one per run folder.
IngestDeck Verify — per-file hash matches with a safe-to-wipe summary and the generated ASC-MHL manifest.

Proxies on the way in.

Drop a Convert node on the graph and IngestDeck transcodes review proxies as it ingests — decode on the GPU, encode through VideoToolbox. No external binary, no codec pack.

  • H.264 & H.265 output from BRAW, RED R3D, ProRes, H.264, H.265 and any AVFoundation source.
  • A per-format matrix — set the target codec, bitrate and resolution scale per input family. Full, half or quarter res.
  • Only what can run — a route is offered only when a real encoder backs it. You can't configure a conversion that won't execute.

v1 targets SDR Rec.709. HDR and additional codecs are on the roadmap; grading and LUT-apply are deliberately out of scope.

IngestDeck Convert — a per-format transcode matrix mapping BRAW, RED R3D, ProRes and H.265 sources to H.264/H.265 proxy outputs.

The whole cart,
in one app.

Review what you shot, manage the disks you shot it to, and recover cleanly when something goes wrong — all without leaving IngestDeck.

Review player

Play, scrub, step and loop your clips fullscreen. Native decode for Blackmagic RAW, RED R3D, ProRes, H.264 and H.265 — a screening room, not a copy queue.

Native disk management

Mount, unmount, rename, identify and format disks through a signed privileged helper — exFAT, APFS or HFS+. No Disk Utility detour.

Media metadata

Codec, resolution, frame rate, timecode and more, read with MediaInfo. Inspect any file, or add metadata columns to the results table.

Preflight before run

Free space, write permissions, source readability and existing-file collisions are all checked up front — you see the problem list, and the fix, before a byte moves.

Pause, resume & recover

Pause mid-run and resume later — even mid-file. Stopped runs stay browsable so you can see exactly what made it across.

Projects & run history

Tabs are durable projects. Finished runs are saved with a Finder-style results browser and spacebar QuickLook to revisit any transfer.

Stop juggling Disk Utility.

The offloaders leave disk handling to the Finder. IngestDeck owns it — every mounted volume is live state across the whole app, refreshed the instant something mounts, renames or fills up.

  • Mount, unmount & rename from the app, with a stable disk identity that survives remounts and reboots.
  • Format to exFAT, APFS or HFS+ through a signed, entitlement-gated privileged helper — a real service boundary, not a shell hack.
  • Identify a disk by pulsing its activity light when you've got five identical shuttles on the cart.
  • Source / destination roles are remembered per disk, so a card can never be picked as a target by mistake.
IngestDeck Disks — mounted volumes with source and destination roles, capacities, and an unformatted disk ready to format.

Your set,
in your pocket.

The Mac does the heavy lifting. The companion lets you watch it from anywhere — running jobs, throughput and ETA, on your lock screen, your Dynamic Island and your wrist. Read-only by design.

IngestDeck iOS monitor — the selected companion view showing live offload jobs with progress, throughput and ETA.

One plan. Everything included.

A subscription keeps the app fully working even offline — for about a month with no connection.
